Hot Price Ranges in Kirkland and Bellevue Last Week, 3-5-12
This data looks at the week of 3-5-12, North Seattle had the highest percentage of homes go under contract of the five areas that I track. Kirkland had a few hot price ranges for Sellers in the $300,000 to $349,999 range and also in the $700,000 to $749,999 range. Bellevue had a big overall jump in the amount of homes that went under contact this week compared to last week. Check out the chart to see the areas and price ranges that are active for Sellers in Red and Yellow.

Life Lessons Through Sports
I had the privilege to speak to a 9th grade basketball team last night. It was inspiring to see the hope and willingness in their eyes to become better athletes and men. I love the side of athletics that teaches you life lessons while you play your sport. The lessons that you learn in sports are used every day in normal situations. What a great way to help prepare for life.
Signed contracts, highest in nearly two years
The number of Americans who signed contracts to buy homes rose in January to the highest level in nearly two years. It is good to see the media reporting some positive news about real estate.

Snohomish King Pierce Weekly County Listing Count 02-13-12
The inventory is still down for King, Snohomish and Pierce Counties. King County is down 28%, Snohomish is down 34% and Pierce is down 19% for all active residential and condominium listings. There are hot areas for sellers by price range depending on where the Buyers are for the week.
King, Snohomish and Pierce Weekly County Listing Count 01-23-12
Here is the Active Weekly Inventory for King, Pierce and Snohomish County. This looks at both residential and condominiums. There has been an decrease in inventory since last week but we are still off by a large amount from last year for total inventory. King is down -27%, Pierce is down -18% and Snohomish is down by -32% from last year at this time. The chart below breaks it down by each week.
